As a guitar fanatic for the past 25+ years, rock, blues, pop, jazz, folk and country music has always intrigued me. Fortunately, this music includes many great guitarists, providing textbook examples to learn from and provide a source of inspiration. Some of my favorite guitarist include Robbie McIntosh, Rick Vito, David Grissom, Buddy Miller, Robben Ford, Eric Johnson, Alan Holdsworth, SRV, Stephen Bruton, Richard Thompson, David Lindley, Ry Cooder, Sonnie Landreth, Charlie Sexton, Jimi Hendrix, Carl Verheyen, Duke Levine, Larry Carlton, Michael Landau, Tony Rice, Johnny Winter, Billy Gibbons, Jeff Beck, and a few bazillion others.

In addition to the guitarists listed above, other artists I enjoy listening to and/or performing include Delbert McClinton, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Rockpile, Jason Faulkner, NRBQ, Steve Earle, Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, XTC, Arc Angels, Storyville, Tom Petty, Rodney Crowell, Sheryl Crowe, Shawn Colvin, Kasey Chambers, Chris Whitley, Cheap Trick, Steely Dan, Chuck Prophet, the Skeletons/Morells and Robbie Fulks.

I have worked in touring bands, as well as the usual club/bar/showcase venue bands doing most styles or rock, blues, country in both "covers" and original music formats. I did a stint as staff guitarist for radio station/studio WWVA in Wheeling, West Virginia, which jump started my interest in recording and country music. Since moving to Seattle, I have worked with various bands an artists including Cowboy Beat, Right As Rain, Big Spoon, The Lloyds, The Souvineers, Christy McWilson, Mary McPage, Deadwood, Beats Walking, Shele Bonet, and Cindy Lang. Currently, I am doing gigs with my roots/rock, bluesy, twang infested band MUDBUG while seeking a new band or project for more playing time.
